AMALGAM REMOVAL

Amalgam removal involves removing amalgam fillings and replacing with a non-metallic filling material.

Amalgam fillings can cause tension in the teeth and eventually fracture. In many cases, fractures can be prevented by replacing the amalgam filling with a non metallic filling material such as composite. Composite is more gentle on the tooth and give the tooth a better forecast.
